I bought this DM500 hd two days ago. As good as good as the descriptions, the property of this machine is very good, with fluent and clear images.

Perfect
There are a lot of interfaces in this DM 800 hd satellite receiver, with exquisite and delicate appearance. Scart, DVI, HDMI output are not one less. eSATA and analog interface can also connect an external hard drive and telephone line network.

Overall is good!
I bought this machine for my father last month. The workmanship is good and the signal is very strong. But the only disappointment is that the heat function seems not very well, if you use it for a long time, the machine will be a little hot.

What is The Dreambox?

1. A dreambox is a linux based satellite receiver with the ability to connect to the net. It can receive cable satellite or terrestrial signals(depends on what model) and allow you to tune into fta channels.
2. The dreambox has a smart card slot that can use to watch cable or satellite TV. It can share a smart card license among other users and function as a video streaming device that you can watch your favourite TV show or listen to music through the Internet. Supporting many types of the smart card and allowing TV program to be record into hard disk.
